Kathleen Virginia Wyatt, age 77, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, February 6th.
Kathleen had a deep love for cooking and baking, which shaped her career and nourished her family over the course of her life. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially if they could be together at the beach. She also enjoyed crochet, reading, and a good word puzzle.
Kathleen joins her husband, Joe Wyatt, with whom she spent 52 wonderful years, and her mother, Helen Ritchie.
Left behind to cherish Kathleen’s memory are her family: son Joe Wyatt (Pam) of Pittsboro; daughters Vickie Partin (Brett) and Stacy Jordan (Michael), both of Pittsboro; brothers Lloyd Bell of Pittsboro, and Gary Bell, Glenn Parks, Bobby Parks, and Warren Parks, all of Ohio; sisters Iona Coy of Ohio, and Ruth Vickers and Mary Parks, both of Sanford; grandchildren Joseph, Derrick, Westley, Aaron, Kali, Allison, and Hunter; and great-grandchildren Haysley, Raelynn, Meadow, Gatlin, Levi, Fate, Waylon, Dallas, Sutton, Sidney, and Romeo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13th at 4:00pm at Griffin Chapel, Donaldson Funeral Home. Funeral services are to follow, beginning at 5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society in Kathleen’s honor.
